Hygiene Bank Assembly Activities

Engage your company, community group, or friends in an activity that has a real impact on health and wellness - and saves nonprofit partners time and resources! By hosting a Simply the Basics Hygiene Bank Activity, you are helping ensure that people have their most basic needs met, plus it is a lot of fun!

Corporations & Community Groups

We provide thoughtful, engaging activities for groups of all sizes - virtual, hybrid, at our offices in San Francisco, or anywhere you are located in the United States!

On the day of the activity, Simply the Basics will join your group either in person or over video for a presentation on our programs, the impact of homelessness and engage in a thoughtful conversation. We then coordinate a team building activity and finish by assembling the hygiene kits that will go out to support our Recipients in your community.

Individuals & Families:

Anywhere in the country, you and your family can support Simply the Basics through volunteerism! We will ship all supplies needed to your home and provide detailed instructions for your volunteer activity which includes.

Once completed, you will double down on your impact by delivering the finished products to a Simply the Basics Receiving Site in your area.

*This activity is great for kids and can be customized for their age range!

The presentation is customizable to meet the goals, age, and interests of your groups. In person presentations are currently only available to groups in the Bay Area.

Are you interested in applying for Sponsorship to cover the cost of the Hygiene Bank Activity?

Sponsorship is available to low income families, public schools, and nonprofits. Only available for a maximum of 100 Kits.

Volunteer Waiver

"I understand that volunteering has inherent risks. I/my corporation assumes all risk to my person (and the participants of the group that I represent) and property arising from the services as a Simply the Basics volunteer. Each Party shall indemnify and hold harmless the other Party and I agree to defend, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Simply the Basics, its directors, officers, employees, agents, administrators, insurers, successors and assigns from and against any and all demands, claims, liabilities, suits, causes of action, judgments, damages, losses, penalties, and/or expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever, including attorneys’ fees, arising, directly or indirectly, from or resulting, directly or indirectly, from Volunteer’s performance of volunteer services hereunder, however caused and regardless of any actions or omissions of Simply the Basics.
