The Cultural Health Equity Initiative is hosting a Simply the Basics Hygiene Drive & Fundraiser to collect everyday essential hygiene supplies to benefit Simply the Basics programs! The hygiene essentials will go to Simply the Basics’ Receiving Sites to support children, families, and adults experiencing hygiene insecurity in San Francisco.
Across the country, roughly 1 in 4 families experience hygiene insecurity and within the population of women and children experiencing homelessness or living with limited income in SF. Providing basic hygiene needs both to people experiencing homelessness and families living with limited income is proven to improve health, dignity, save nonprofits time, and ensure that everyone has their most basic needs met. We appreciate you for helping us to achieve this goal!
Your donation is 100% tax deductible and goes towards the value of the supplies (such as shampoo, socks, soap, etc) needed to improve the health of our community.
