About the Speaker:
Juthaporn Chaloeicheep is a mother of six boys and a survivor of two decades of homelessness and drug addiction. As one of the very first people to receive housing in 2013 when available in San Francisco’s housing services, she was able to use this opportunity to make a better life for herself. Today, she championed herself to a life of success as the first global ambassador for Dress for Success Worldwide, a graduate of San Francisco State University in 2020 with a BA in Liberal Studies, and a recent graduate from the City College of San Francisco with a certificate as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor. She continues to pursue her dream of being the best mother to her eight year old son, Douglas, who was able to remain in her custody and will be attending San Francisco State to get her Master’s in MSW. She plans on writing her memoir called ”Juthaporn, master of my recovery.”
