Simply the Basics Receiving Site Partner Portal

Our goal is to improve the health of the community and save you, our partners, time and resources. Simply the Basics does 100% of the fundraising and collecting to provide the hygiene supplies you request and need quarterly by hand delivering or by mail.

Overview of Our Services:

+ Quarterly Deliveries: 

We work with you, our nonprofit “Receiving Site Partners” by sending once every quarter hygiene essentials based upon your programs and needs.

+ Unique, One-time Requests for Clients

If one of your clients has an emergency, one-time hygiene or health related need that fits within our programs, we may be able to support! Fill out this form to request a single item up to once per quarter.

+ Public Hygiene Markets

San Francisco Receiving Site Partners can host a Simply the Basics Hygiene Market at your site to provide clients a free shopping experience and select supplies for their specific hygiene needs. More info and request form HERE.

+ Partnership Agreements

All Partners Agree to the following:

  1. Supplies are to be provided free of charge to those experiencing homelessness or with limited income.

  2. Will not use Simply the Basics products for the purposes of proselytizing and will not require participation in religious activities to receive.

  3. May not sub-distribute Simply the Basics products to any other organization, agency, or entity.

+ Photos & Testimonial

When we highlight your organization, you help us advocate the importance of hygiene access and the work we achieve together. We encourage you to send us photos and we will highlight your organization online and in our newsletter. Photos may be of staff or clients, but clients is not required.

+ Hygiene Locator - Increase Visibility to Donors & Volunteers

List your organization on the Hygiene Locator to grow awareness and have additional donors find you to donate the hygiene supplies you need most. Choose to be listed as an organization to receive donations or for Recipients to access hygiene at your location, or both! You get to set the parameters. Frequently Asked Questions

How can I update information on our organization and the supplies we need? You may update your supply requests within our program parameters to ensure we are meeting client health needs. You may also skip or pause a delivery at any time. To make an update to the supplies you are receiving, your address, point of contact, or any other logistics, please email us HERE.

How do I renew our partnership? At the end of each fiscal year we will send the point of contact in our partnership a “Renewal Survey.” Please ensure to fill this out so you don’t receive any delays in receiving supplies and can remain a partner for the next year. Surveys go out at the end of June/ beginning of July.

I’d love to recommend your services to another nonprofit! That’s wonderful, thank you! We request that you please have the nonprofit reach out to us at admin@simplythebasics.org so we can explain more about the partnership and provide an application in the case they may be eligible. Please note, we do currently have a waitlist of nonprofits awaiting to become Receiving Sites and accept sites on a rolling basis.

We have a group of volunteers that want to assemble hygiene kits. Can they assemble Simply the Basics kits? Thank you for thinking of us and helping to ensure hygiene access & awareness! Feel free to connect us directly with the volunteer group and if a fit, we can organize a Simply the Basics Hygiene Kit Activity with them. Due to our schedule for distributions, we can not guarantee ahead of time where the supplies will be distributed.

Are there others ways we can increase our organization’s access to hygiene essentials? Yes! By ensuring your organization is listed on the Hygiene Locator, more in-kind donors in your community will find your organization and see the supplies you need most. We are continuously recommending organizations on our Hygiene Locator for donations and it’s a great way to increase your visibility to donors! Learn more above under “Hygiene Locator.”

Can I send photos of our staff and/or clients with the products we received to be featured on your social media? Absolutely! We would love to highlight your organization and the work we achieve together. You can either submit photos below or send them directly to admin@simplythebasics.org. If submitting below, please ensure to name the photos with your organization’s name so we know which organization to connect the image.
