Simply the Basics is committed to ensuring that every child has access to essential hygiene resources, recognizing that meeting these basic needs is fundamental to a student's ability to focus on their education. Proper hygiene positively impacts attendance, academic performance, and relationships.
Due to limited capacity, we prioritize supporting schools with the most significant resource challenges and those serving students most affected by poverty and unmet basic needs that would otherwise not have a hygiene resource elsewhere at the school or in the community. While hygiene supplies are important at all levels, our focus is on meeting the needs of those who would otherwise lack access. Therefore, the items we provide are not intended to supplement existing hygiene programs and must be made available to all students without barriers. The following information will help us determine your eligibility to become a receiving site.
Please note that all schools, regardless of eligibility, can register on the Hygiene Bank Locator—a platform that connects schools with community donations to address their hygiene needs. We will review your submission and follow up with next steps.
