Project Dahlia CCA 2016 Impact Award

"Project Dahlia" is an initiative created by Natasha Noltimier-Strauss, Karen Chan, and Kris Fung, funded by a 2016 Impact Award from California College of the Arts. This initiative aims to support homeless women in San Francisco, by amplifying the work of Simply the Basics.

This past July, Natasha, Karen, and Kris connected with Simply the Basics with the hopes of helping our programs reach a broader audience, improve our marketing capacity, and offer products that could be distributed in outreach events and the community.  

The goal is to empower women through hygiene to realize their capacity to overcome homelessness.
