About the Speaker: Brittany Horwich, Deputy Director of Simply the Basics, has worked in the field of homelessness for nearly 6 years. With a masters in Crisis and Trauma, Brittany first worked directly with our unhoused neighbors abroad and later in San Francisco to help address needs such as housing, employment, and basic needs. As a service provider in SF, Brittany received Simply the Basics hygiene kits for her clients, which helped build relationships and further her work. She feels privileged to have supported so many of our neighbors and be entrusted to share their stories and experiences to make programs and organizational decisions thoughtful and impactful.
